If you wish to join CUBO as a Primary Member, please complete the form below. For Associate Members, the Primary Member just has to nominate the individual to the CUBO Executive Officer at admin@cubo.org.uk. Fpor the differences in membership categories click here.
Eligibility
To be eligible, Primary Members should meet the following criteria:
- To be a member of CUBO general budget responsibility in trading activities should preferably include Responsibility for an management of:
- Central catering facilities
- Residential facilities
- Conference / Seminar and general vacation business
- Where no central catering facility is provided by the University responsibility for all Residence catering is the alternative
- If within a University a potential member does not have direct responsibility for one of the three trading areas described above, but has other central service responsibilities such as Security, Buildings etc, the Membership Committee may recommend membership if all other criteria are met and a perceived balance achieved.
- The member must report directly to the University Senior Officer such as the Principle or Vice-Chancellor, Secretary to the University, Registrar, Finance Officer, Bursar or a Deputy or Assistant Principal.
- If within a University there is more than one Officer who meets the above criteria one nomination and Member will be accepted by CUBO as that University's representative, however, deputies may be nominated to attend CUBO events if required.
Subscription
There is an annual subscription, currently £475.00, which contributes to the cost of administration, research, production of the annual Performance Indicators and professional development events.
